However ordinary this pub seems it serves excellent food. I especially like the home made burger with mashed potatoes and gravy. Together with a pint of Guinness (including the shamrock on the top) it is just great. If the barman isn't too busy feel free to chat away and he'll tell you about the history of the building as well as the ghost George that is said to reside on the top floor...
